What you’ll get working with JM Building Contractors
- Employed role with guaranteed 40 hours per week (8am–4.30pm) – no worrying about dry spells
- Opportunities for overtime – some later finishes, particularly in spring/summer/autumn, with quieter winters (hours still paid), and when projects near completion

About the role – Skilled Labourer
You’ll be supporting the wider team on site across a range of tasks. This could include:
- Moving and preparing materials
- Cleaning sites to a high standard, including using a hoover
- Assisting tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers)
- Site clean-up and basic maintenance
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Following instructions to ensure the site runs smoothly and safely
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, hands-on, and ready to muck in. A good work ethic, attention to detail, and team spirit are more important than qualifications.

What we’re looking for
- Experience on site preferred (but not essential)
- A full UK driving licence
